Smallville Season 6 premiered last September 28, 2006 in CW Network, a joint venture between Warner Bros. and CBS (Research)

Smallville season 5 ended with Jonathan Kent dead, Zod’s spirit (he was imprisoned by Jor-El in the Phantom Zone for crimes that led to the destruction of planet Krypton) released from the Phantom Zone taking Lex Luthor as his vessel. Meanwhile, Lois Lane and Martha Kent were inside Lionel Luthor’s private jet bound for Washington for a National Education Summit, the cabin pressure suddenly increased because of the computer virus that Brainiac spread leaving Lois and Martha unconscious. The whole world is in brink of collapse due to dependence of humans to technology. The season finale ended with Clark imprisoned inside the Phantom Zone.

The first episode “Zod” started with Clark imprisoned inside the Phantom Zone, deprived of his powers. Meanwhile, Lois and Martha crashed near the Fortress of Solitude where Jor-El told Martha to retrieve the dagger and kill Zod’s vessel, Lex Luthor. Zod took over Lex’s body and planned to seek vengeance by destroying Earth as what he did with planet Krypton.

Proud to be a PICPA member

Yesterday, 18 September 2006, I went to PICPA office in Shaw Boulevard, right after my final interview with a big car dealer company in Pasig City, to pay membership dues from year 2004 to 2005. The annual membership dues is PhP1,000 which means I have to pay for PhP3,000. Here's the good news:
TO ALL PICPA MEMBERS!In their desire to encourage the CPAs to activate their membership in our organization, the Board of Directors during their meeting on January 28, 2006, approved the assessment of TWO THOUSAND PESOS (P2,000.00) only, as membership dues for 2006 and prior years.

VISIT PICPA, PAY YOUR DUES AND ENJOY YOUR SAVINGS!!!

I paid only PhP2,000 membership dues which include PICPA ID and PICPA Certification. Now, I can be proud to be a PICPA member. Most CPAs indicate in the professional affiliations portion of their CV that they are members of PICPA. Pay your membership dues now and be proud to say I'm a member of PICPA. Let us support our own professional organization. Besides, you will need PICPA ID and PICPA certification in applying for Skilled Migrants in Canada, Australia and other countries.

Tribute to Apo Hiking Society

APO Hiking Society, then known as Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, is a legend in the Philippine music industry. The group, composed of the trio of Danny Javier, Boboy Garovillo, and Jim Paredes, is known for their love of music and of country. APO promotes and supports OPM (Original Pinoy Music). I won’t forget the song “Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo,” composed by Jim Paredes, which became the Edsa People Power I anthem. We need artists like APO that are patriotic and are not afraid to speak their minds in political issues. The hottest bands here in the Philippines paid tribute to APO by performing their own version of the band’s hit songs. The album “Kami nAPO Muna” is composed of 18 tracks. I am sharing the album for everyone’s listening pleasure. Please support OPM, do not buy pirated music.
