APO Hiking Society, then known as Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, is a
legend in the Philippine music industry. The group, composed of the trio
of Danny Javier, Boboy Garovillo, and Jim Paredes, is known for their
love of music and of country. APO promotes and supports OPM (Original
Pinoy Music). I won’t forget the song “Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo,”
composed by Jim Paredes, which became the Edsa People Power I anthem. We
need artists like APO that are patriotic and are not afraid to speak
their minds in political issues.
The hottest bands here in the
Philippines paid tribute to APO by performing their own version of the
band’s hit songs. The album “Kami nAPO Muna” is composed of 18 tracks. I
am sharing the album for everyone’s listening pleasure. Please support
